The ‘Tax, Privatisation and the Right to Education: Influencing education financing policy’ is a multi-country project that seeks to ensure that all children have improved access to public education of a high standard financed through greater government support and increases in fair tax revenue. Le rôle du secteur privé dans l’éducation est devenu une question d’actualité internationale, et il a tendance à générer des déclarations généralisées et polarisées, plutôt que des débats nuancés. Tenter de débattre du rôle des “acteurs non-étatiques” dans l’éducation accentue souvent le problème, car un très large éventail d’acteurs différents, de rôles et de contextes se trouvent  « mis dans le même sac ». La réalité est plus complexe que bien des personnes (y compris moi-même) ne la font parfois paraître.
