Le rapport contient également une mise à jour sur l’éducation dans les situations d’urgence, conformément à la résolution 64/290 de l’Assemblée générale.

The law of Delict in South Africa (which would be called “the law of torts” elsewhere) has a complicated legacy. It is part of the South African common law – a colonial artefact originating from Roman Dutch law. After Apartheid ended, racist and authoritarian laws had to be abolished or amended to be consistent with a variety of rights enshrined in the Constitution of South Africa, 1996.

Initiative for Social and Economic Rights (ISER) Vs AG, Civil Suit No. 353 of 2016
In this case, ISER successfully petitioned the High Court seeking declarations to the effect that the government policy on public financing of secondary education in Uganda infringes on the rights to; equality and non – discrimination; and quality education as guaranteed under Articles 21; and 30 and 34(2) of the Constitution respectively.
