On 21 March, RTE participated in a joint webinar held by Global Campaign for Education and Education Out Loud, to explore perspectives on the 2021-2 UNESCO GEM Report on Non-state actors in education.
The webinar sought to discuss some of the key themes in the report, including but not limited to the regulation and accountability of non-state actors, and the role of non-state actors in education in emergencies.
Our Director Delphine Dorsi presented a paper co-authored with Sylvain Aubry of GI-ESCR, and Professor Frank Adamson of Sacramento State University. The paper, ‘Human rights to evaluate evidence on non-state involvement in education’, was published on 10 December as a background paper to the GEM Report.
