Welcome to our new site, we hope you will find it useful in your campaigning for better protection of education rights. We are trying to address a very wide and diverse audience, and have many different categories.
Some to introduce the right to education, some to identify or address violations.
Some looking at excluded groups, some looking at education financing.
Some for social mobilisation, some for taking a legal route.
Some looking at the local and national level, some at the regional and international level.
The country database is the jewel in the crown: a unique resource documenting the constitutional protection (or lack of) of the right to education in all 192 countries.
Our pages are all interlinked, and under tools and resources we hope to identify the most important places to learn more.
In the months to come, we will widen the scope of categories, aim for more interactivity and sharing of experiences, and develop more country pages devoted to social mobilisation. This is a work in progress and will need updating for as long as there are violations of the right to education out there!
